Here's something that you can't find anywhere!  This is an ice fishing alarm bell that mounts either to the wall of your permanent house, or to tube in your ice fishing flip over pull-behind.  It's easy to use and basically holds your rod with a SPINNING REEL in the open bail position.  Simply drop your line down the hole to the desired depth, stick the rod in the holder with the  rod-tip oriented down and drape your line from your reel spool over  the pin  with the bell.

While you're "shooting the bull"  with your buddies, a fish grabs your bait and takes off with it, just like a tip up and there's ZERO resistance in the line.  Off he goes hell-bent-for-election, ding-a-ling goes the bell and you interrupt  that politically-incorrect joke to dive for your rod and set the hook.  Fight the fish for  bit, listen to your Tica  SS500 reel drag peel out line and call for back up with the gaff!  I can just feel the adrenaline surging as I write this!
