Voyageur Map #1- Lac La Criox, Crane Lake, Loon Lake, Nina Moose Lake

Map 1 covers The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness south of the Quetico Provinical Park along the US-Canadian Border. Some of the major lakes- Lac La Criox, Crane Lake, Loon Lake, Nina Moose Lake and Vicinity. No Canadian Coverage.

Each map contains comprehensive planning information such as the most difficult portages on each map, human history, 1999 blowdown impact, etc. A closeup of the maps shows additional features. The maps are to be printed in 5 colors, and include many useful features not shown on currently available maps, such as primitive management areas, historic portages that are no longer maintained, and useful fisheries tables on each map giving a summary of DNR fisheries data.
