Voyageur Map #8-Kawishiwi Lake, Sawbill Lake, Baker Lake

Map #8 covers portions of the southeast BWCAW. Major Lakes-Kawishiwi Lake, Sawbill Lake, Baker Lake and vicinity.

Each map contains comprehensive planning information such as the most difficult portages on each map, human history, 1999 blowdown impact, etc. A closeup of the maps shows additional features. The maps are to be printed in 5 colors, and include many useful features not shown on currently available maps, such as primitive management areas, historic portages that are no longer maintained, and useful fisheries tables on each map giving a summary of DNR fisheries data.
